the Author
Kateri M. Murray, author of
Victory Under
Pressure, a small life... an immense purpose,
lives in Grand Island, New York with her husband Kevin, a high school teacher,
and
Collin,
the
son who taught her so much. She enjoys her two dogs,
her passion for writing, and her personal ministry for parents of intensive
care and unborn babies. Kateri is New York State Certified in Elementary
Education, having received a Master of Arts in Education with a writing
concentration from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2006, and her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the State University of New York College at Buffalo in 2001 .

“Imitation for admiring authors”, and “Choosing Writing Openers”
- Arranged several writing field trips facilitating “imagine as you go” writing
- Lead guided reading, consistently demonstrating & utilizing text connections
- Proctored and pre-arranged fourth grade NYS Science Assessments
- Directed several collaborative and inclusion classrooms
